Suze's take on the financial situation...

Thanks for the link. Suze, as always, is right on target. You should, however, keep at least a hundred bucks in the house (or mattress.)
If your bank goes under, it will take awhile for FDIC to kick in. You may need food, gas, whatever, in the interim.

Boomie! Thanks for stopping by! It's always wise to keep some cash in the house!

Hi - I saw this on the Today Show. I like Suze's advice, but it seems that lately we haven't seen the kinder, gentler Suze - she's been a bit shrill.

CT Mom,
Hasn't she? Especially last sat. night on her can I afford it section...oh my gosh she was speaking directly to me when she denied the person who wanted the pool! We wanted to do the same thing! I heard her loud and clear....but she's also been a bit contradictive...people first? It should be prenup first...

Good advice, as always from Suze. It's scary how many people don't pay attention to the FDIC insurance guidelines. If you are really wealthy, though, that's a lot of account juggling! I hope her advice leads people to make better decisions with where to keep their money.
