I believe in angels...

I have a guardian angel. I must. When I was distraught with all of our credit card debt and car debt my guardian angel rescued me from debtors prison by sending down relief by way of my husband's bonus. How else would we have had the exact amount to pay off the two cars, the credit cards AND be able to put away some cash for emergency savings?

Well, my guardian angel is back. He/she's not showering me with cash this time, he/she is making it clear that I should not borrow from my home (go further into debt) because I want to make some home improvements. How is my angel doing this?
He/she has shown me in various ways that my home value in the last year has decreased nearly $100,000.00. And, everytime I get the urge to refinance, I check the rates and they rise higher each time I look.
Okay, okay, guardian angel...I get it. THERE WILL BE NO BORROWING. PERIOD.

It's good to have someone watching out for you!! I can't believe how much your home value has decreased......... the market's really unpredictable, isn't it?!

Yeah, we have good friends that are doing major renovations and we are jealous. It's hard but will be worth it in the end! Good work for recognizing what your Angel was trying to tell you!

Hi, This is your angel speaking, if you plan to borrow 10k and sell the house for 30k in profit, it makes sense, go for it!

And you have the blog to help pay it back!
