Lansdowne Resort! At Christmas time my husband's boss gave us a gift certificate to this resort...There was enough for an evening's stay and a round of golf. We just got back a few hours ago, and it was a wonderful 24 hours! It's a nice resort, although I feel it's a bit on the pricey end. One night's stay and two rounds of golf cost $500.00. (Actually, the total bill came to $517.00, which included drinks and hors doerves AND dessert and coffee). Our gift certificate was for $500.00, so all in all, $17.00 didn't seem too bad for an evening and day of golf. My husband doesn't usually get this kind of generous gift, he had just finished a huge project, and saved his firm about $500,000 in the process...so....
I wish we had an entire weekend, but alas, 24 hours was all my older daughter could handle, as she was in charge of the younger two and the dog....
So I will take some time to catch up on blogs and bask in the glory that even the $17.00 is not my responsibility....my husband will handle it out of the checkbook HE's in charge of! :)
