After having a discussion with my husband, we decided that our oldest daughter would have to pay for her fifth year semester for college. We had told her in the beginning that we would pay 1/2 of an in state tuition for 4 years, but her degree takes her to one more semester. I guess the boiling point for us was the fact that she wanted to take a mission trip in April, but she needed a new computer. We bought her the new computer at the detriment of our finances. She does not work presently as she is in school, however, she could make a better attempt at earning some cash to help with her expenses. I let her know this afternoon that we would not be paying for her last semester. She was not happy. I feel relieved. We need a savings account....
