Big, Big, Big spend weekend....

I was paid (not a large amount) on Friday, and cleared out the account by Sunday afternoon! :) But all good, and necessary. A month's worth of meat, groceries for two weeks, soccer snack, dinner out (yes, this was necessary :)), clothes shopping for my daughter (completed!) and both gas tanks full to the brim.

Whew. I should be okay for a couple of days...my husband gets paid tomorrow and fills up the checkbook again...for another two weeks, but thankfully our cupboards are full, as well as our car tanks so we should be good to go for a while.

Goals...

3/5 No spend days
1/5 No drive days

Hey Sharon!!

Well done from the sounds of it you spent your money wisely.

I suppose one good thing of spending ALL your money is then there is no temptation to spend anymore? ;)

Sharon,

That is a big spend day! But, as nice as it feels to have a full check book - doesn't it feel just as wonderful to have full tanks, pantry, freezer, etc...? God is so good at covering our needs. Thanks for all the lessons you've taught me through your blog!

Blessings,
Tif

The good thing about the full pantry and freezer is there will be less temptation to go out.. way to go!

It feels good when you know you're covered!!

I wish I was paid every two weeks instead of monthly. I find it hard on one income to cover myself for a month at a time!
