The Last Lecture

For those of you who have never heard of Randy Pausch, please watch his last lecture here. He died on July 25th after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He wrote a book with the lessons taught in "The Last Lecture". Please borrow it from the library, or buy it. It will have you rethinking your priorities, as it certainly did mine.

Before he died, he spoke at the Carnegie Melon University graduation, and what stands out most in his speech to me was: "Do not strive for money or things as your passion. It's people and your relationships with people that you should be passionate about". You can find part of his graduation address here.

Thank you Randy, for helping me reprioritize...I'm saving this video in case I might get "lost" again.

P.S. A special thank you to CT Mom for introducing me to this lecture a couple months ago!

I agree 100%. I am someone who also made the mistake of doing it otherwise ( http://liberta.co.za/blog/the-only-things-that-mean-anything/ ).

Thanks for the reminder, and the link.

Francois,
I like that quote a lot...I'll have to post it somewhere so I can look at it often!
