I had lots of free time on my "No Spend Weekend" so I was able to watch a movie with the family. The movie is about a college graduate becoming a nanny for a very wealthy family on the Upper Eastside of New York City. "Annie" the "nanny", is a very bright anthropology major who has no idea of what she wants to do now that she has graduated. Her mother, who is a nurse, worked very hard to put her through school and wants her to go into business/finance and make a lot of money. Ironically, Annie lands a job that shows her just how making lots of money affects the families of the Upper East Side. A poignant tale about what really matters in life. Hint: it's not money.
I'll give this movie 5 stars!

I'm definitely looking forward to this one coming out on The Movie Network... it sounds like a lot of fun :-)
I didn't like the movie! I loved the book, but I just didn't like the movie...hm...
I think that happens a lot. You read the book, and the movie is missing stuff, or just not as good. I didn't read the book, but I liked the movie. Had I read the book, I might not have.
